Is there any game that produces more excuses and rationalizations than golf? I think not. Big Shooter is not alone.
Have you ever been in denial about any part of your golf game? Do you have any favorite excuses?

I am in denial about every aspect of my life except golf…!!!
Honestly, I have very good equipment, do not take lessons, never go to the range, only stretch for a few moments before a round and blame no one but myself for the results.
It drives me nuts when someone hits the directly into the woods and curses his bad luck when it does not spit back in the fairway. Better than that, the people who curse the hole when their putts lip out. My experience tells me properly paced putts entering the center of the cut rarely, if ever, lip out. Overly fast putts and dribbled putts reduce your odds even if your aim is perfect. Putts hit on on near the lip are apt to miss solely due to geometry.
No, my golf game is all my fault. Well, except yesterday, when on #5, that one damn branch that overhangs….
I only seem to have problems in the sand lately because of an annoying Shankapotomus that appears to be following me around. Where can I find Shankapotomus repellent?
