TNT and PGA.com will present all-access coverage of the 32nd PGA Grand Slam of Golf, with four major champions competing Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 14-15, to determine the best-of-the-best in professional golf at Port Royal Golf Course in Bermuda. This year’s foursome boasts a combined nine major championships, including reigning major champions Rory McIlroy (Open Championship and PGA Championship), Martin Kaymer (U.S. Open) and Bubba Watson (Masters), along with past major champion and 2008 Grand Slam winner Jim Furyk.
TNT will provide exclusive coverage Tuesday, Oct. 14, from 4–7 p.m. ET/PT and Wednesday, Oct. 15 from 4–8 p.m. ET/PT, with all four players mic’d throughout course play, as well as behind-the-scenes features from Bermuda. TNT’s coverage will include announcers Brian Anderson (play-by-play) and Ian Baker-Finch (analyst), who played in the event in 1991 as Open Champion, and Billy Kratzert (course reporter).
Established in 1979, the PGA Grand Slam of Golf has grown from an 18-hole, single-day charity event to a 36-hole annual showdown that matches professional golf’s best against each other for a $1.35 million purse. This year marks the eighth year the PGA Grand Slam of Golf has originated from Bermuda and the sixth consecutive year it has been played at Port Royal Golf Course.
